TAMPA, Fl (October 22, 2013) – Softball Excellence, a company specializing in softball training and education, has been selected by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) to provide the educational content for its new recruiting app.
The NFCA has launched a new free smart phone app designed to make it easier for future collegiate softball players to get their information to college coaches. Player education is an integral part of this app and falls into 4 categories: Your Softball Skills, Your Behaviors, Your Mental Game and Your Recruiting. Softball Excellence is proud to be providing the educational content for three of these four areas: Softball Skills, Mental Game and Behaviors.
Cindy Bristow of Softball Excellence, the NFCA’s partner for softball education in the “Softball University” section on the app, had this to say, about the new state-of-the-art offering: “Softball Excellence is proud to be partnering with the NFCA to provide educational content for this brand new groundbreaking app. It will make life easier for the future collegiate student-athlete, and Softball Excellence is excited to be the NFCA’s educational partner in this exciting venture.”
This new app, which college coaches helped create, is designed to make it easy for recruits to enter their information and allow college coaches to find them. This app will allow college coaches to track players they’re interested in as well as find which tournaments athletes are playing in including game times and field locations.
The recruiting process is ever-changing, and this app will help recruits and their parents stay ahead of the game. The educational content provided by Softball Excellence will help Recruits stay on top of their game. Athletes will also be able to add video as well as “softball measurables,” such as running speed, throwing speed, etc., along with contact information on the person or group that did the testing.
Currently the app is only available for the iPhone with the launch of an android version of the app coming soon. The iPhone version of the NFCA Recruiting App is available to download for free through the iTunes Store.
