Twice a month on Tuesdays at 6am (ET) Softball Excellence sends out its Insider Newsletter with exclusive reader deals, great softball tips, upcoming softball events and broadcasts, and instructional articles to help you become a better coach or player. Much of the info we send out is time sensitive so you if you don’t get our email you won’t know about the big game or the limited time offer.

If you are not getting the newsletter it’s probably because of one of these four reasons:

  1. Not Registered – if you’ve never ordered anything from us (even free stuff), then maybe you have not registered yet – that’s easy to fix just register now!
  2. Bad Email Address – If you recently changed your email address or you never received a confirmation email from us, you may have mis-typed your email address. To check your email go to My Account, and sign in with your correct email address and password. If you can’t sign-in just shoot us an email and give us your name, address, phone number and the correct email address and we will change it for you. You can always change any of your registration information by going to My Account, putting in your correct email and password, then editing your account.
  3. Unsubscribed – if you have ever accidently or intentionally clicked the “unsubscribe” or “SafeUnsubscribe” links which are in every one of our emails, you have been moved to our Do Not Mail’ and will not receive the Newsletter. To start to receive our Newsletter again you will need to sign-up again and confirm your subscription in the email you receive after signing up again. When you attempt to sign up you will see the message “You are already a member of the mailing list. If you would like to update your profile, please click submit and instructions will be emailed to you.” Important: you must click Submit, and then click Update Profile in the email you receive next. After confirming that you want to join the General List you will receive another email in which you must click Confirm Subscription.
  4. Spam Filter – If you’ve registered on our site, your email is correct, and you have not unsubscribed and you’re still not getting the Softball Excellence Newsletter you’re probably the victim of an overzealous spam filter. But don’t panic, we can help you fix things just read on!

Unsolicited, unwanted advertising email, commonly known as ‘spam’, has become one of the biggest problems on the internet. In the continuing battle against Spammers, many Internet Service Providers (ISP) and email systems have in place filtering that attempts to stop the spam before it reaches your Inbox.

We get a ton of SPAM too so we support solutions that stop illegitimate email, unfortunately, legitimate email is all too often caught within these filters as spam. Over 1/3 of people say spam filters are blocking emails they wish to receive from trusted sources. They often block email that you’ve requested, but that fits somebody’s idea of what spam looks like (who on earth could think an email about our beloved SOFTBALL could possibly be spam). This is known as ‘false positives’. The results… you might unexpectedly find you’re not getting our newsletter every time…

There are some steps you can take to make sure the Softball Excellence Newsletter and order confirmation emails don’t fall into the false positive trap. Just take a minute and follow the instruction below to White-list us now, before you miss the next exclusive offer or big softball event.

Of course, every e-mail system is different. We have assembled instructions for most of the more popular ones. If yours isn’t here, please contact your ISP’s customer service department for their instructions. If you’re using some sort of spam filtering or blocking software yourself (in addition to what your ISP provides), we’ve also listed instructions on how to exempt your SE Insider from some of the more popular of those programs.
